Contrary to the social media whirlwind, the multi-million dollar Yadah Hotel and Heart Stadium are NOT set to be auctioned. Official sources from Graham & Douglas Real Estate have clarified that while a public auction is taking place at Raylton Sports Club, these flagship properties are not on the list.

"The hotel and the stadium are not part of the properties set to be auctioned. The two prime properties under the hammer are the Prayer Mountain and a house in Prospect." — Graham & Douglas Official.

The roots of the current auction notices lie in a long-standing financial dispute between Planet Africa (Pvt) Ltd—directed by Prophet Magaya and his wife—and GetBucks Microfinance Bank. The bank has sought to liquidate the estate to recover a staggering debt of US$420,140.72.

Targeted Properties:

  • Stand 166 Smuts Road, Prospect: A 3.2-hectare estate featuring a six-bedroom mansion.
  • No. 6 Caledon Avenue, Prospect: An 8.7-hectare expansive property.
  • The Prayer Mountain: One of the Prophet’s most iconic spiritual sites.

In a parallel legal crisis, Yadah Hotel director Donald Makuvaza has pleaded guilty to the possession of unregistered and unapproved complementary medicines. The charges follow a CID raid conducted on November 15, 2023, after detectives received a tip-off regarding an unauthorized pharmaceutical cache.

The State alleges that detectives found forms indicating the dispensing of these substances to an individual identified as Happiness Mavindire. The case has been remanded to March 10 for plea recording.

The police raid uncovered a significant variety of unregulated substances in an unoccupied hotel room. The list of seized medicines includes:

Metronidazole
Clotrimazole
Acyclovir Topical
Fluconazole
Cotrimoxazole
Miconazole Nitrate
CO Q10 Vascular Care
Sodium Bicarbonate Inj.
Stillen Aupatillin
Azithromycin

The State maintains that hotel officials had no legal authorization to possess or administer these clinical drugs.
