A SEA OF CELEBRATION: Rows upon rows of well-wishers packed Mvurwi Stadium to mark cultural heritage, youth empowerment and national leadership.

From the moment the Head of State's motorcade arrived, the stadium answered with ululations, song and dance — a reception befitting both a milestone birthday and a day now firmly woven into the national cultural calendar.

President Mnangagwa's arrival in Mvurwi was met by senior Government officials, ZANU PF party leaders, traditional leaders and a massive crowd that had gathered well ahead of his motorcade — all eager to be part of a day that has quickly become a fixture on Mashonaland Central's calendar.

The Lineup Suluman Chimbetu, Baba naMai Charamba, Seh Calaz, Dorcas Moyo, Sandra Ndebele, Khonangale, IYASA, Chief Hwenje and Mathias Mhere each took to the stage, delivering a night that moved fluidly between sungura, gospel, dancehall and traditional dance.
